Wash intelligently
Smart energy savings
Monitor and reduce the washer’s energy use. AI Energy mode* lets you check the power consumption and estimates your electricity bill. For courses that operate in AI Energy mode** it reduces energy use by up to 70%*** using Ecobubble™ to wash with cool water instead of warm and extra cycle time.
Smart, gentle washing
Enjoy effective washing with AI Ecobubble™*. It creates bubbles that remove 24% more soil** even in cool water. It also detects the fabric type and adjusts the amount of bubbles, washing time, temperature and spin speed. So it saves up to 70% energy*** compared to washing in warm water and ensures 45.5% better fabric care****.
Performance
Wash in 39 minutes
Cut your daily laundry time and get clothes thoroughly clean. Use Super Speed to wash a load in just 39 minutes*. QuickDrive™ saves time by moving clothes dynamically, while Ecobubble™ ensures powerful cleaning. The rinsing time is shortened using Speed Spray and it accelerates the spin speed.
Reduces microplastic
The Less Microfiber cycle works to make clothes shed less microplastics, which are discharged into the drain water. By adjusting the motor’s revolution speed and washing intensiveness, the Less Microfiber cycle reduces the amount of microfiber released into the drain water by up to 54%*.
Intensive cleaning
Get your clothes spotlessly clean, even if they are really dirty. The Bubble Soak function helps remove a wide variety of stubborn stains, like blood, tea, wine, make-up and grass. Clothes are thoroughly soaked in active bubbles, so dirt and stains are loosened and can be removed effectively*.
Do the SmartThings at Home
Connect your life with SmartThings
Use your washer easily and effectively with the SmartThings App*, which enhances your washing. The Laundry Recipe recommends the appropriate wash cycle** for each load. The Laundry Planner enhances your daily schedule***. And Auto Cycle Link**** selects an optimal drying course after a wash.
SmatThings Energy
Manage your household’s energy use anytime. SmartThings Energy* provides helpful energy efficiency tips. It also lets you monitor the energy consumption of smart appliances** in real time and compare it to the previous month. And it alerts you if your monthly targets are likely to be exceeded.
SmatThings Home care
Take care of your washer easily. SmartThings Home Care* notifies you when parts need replacing and helps troubleshoot problems. It also shows you how to update the software of services and devices. And it provides useful tips on using your appliance, as well as a user manual.
Reduce bacteria
Give clothes a deep and hygienic clean. Hygiene Steam releases steam from the bottom of the drum. It removes grime and 99.9% of certain bacteria* and inactivates allergens derived from house dust mites**. Hygiene Steam reduces exposure to house dust mite, cat, dog, grass pollen and fungi***.
Keep the washer fresh
Keep the inside of the machine hygienically clean and fresh. Drum Clean + removes dirt and 99.9% of certain odor-causing bacteria* in the drum by soaking, pulsating and spinning. A water jet and fast spinning also remove grime from the door gasket. And it notifies you when it needs cleaning**.
Cleans away residue
Stop wasting detergent and avoid the tedious task of cleaning the detergent drawer. The StayClean Drawer ensures that more of the detergent is washed away with a specially designed water flushing system. So there is less unsightly soap residue and the tray stays clean and hygienic.
